High water season (August to January)
In the morning, we pick you up at your hotel in Luang Prabang and depart to an elephant camp located in a mountainous area on the banks of Nam Khan River. Our camp manager welcomes you and provides you brief information about Asia elephants before you get an elephant ride to enjoy magnificent landscapes and tranquility from the back of elephants. After that, you take a boat trip crossing the river to begin the trek through beautiful jungle. We will stop to visit a Khmu hill-tribe village. Coming here you can explore daily life of local people. Don’t hesitate to ask them any questions for further information (our guide will help you in translation). Then we continue trekking to Tad Sae Waterfall, where you can take a refreshing swim. Depend on our schedule, you will have lunch at the waterfall or at a local village. After that, we return to Luang Prabang by boat. We will take you back to your hotel by our vehicle. End trip.
Low water season (February to July)
During this period, Tad Sae Waterfall is dry, so we will not visit. Instead of it, you will continue with visiting riverside villages to explore their daily activities and take some nice photos on the sand beaches exposing in Nam Khan River just only in this season. Other schedules are the same with the high water season.
