When you arrive at Heho Airport, we meet you and start drive to Pindaya. Coming here, you will visit magnificent Pindaya Caves. This is an important pilgrimage site for Burmese Buddhists and is also an attractive sight for tourists. This 150m-long-cave is set in a limestone hill containing thousands of Buddha images in various styles and from different eras from the early Konbaung dynasty to present day. Every small corner and nook of the cave is cramped with Buddha images up to the ceiling. Many are gold plated, others are made from teak wood, marble, bronze and other materials. Many are very small, some are life size. In addition, between the images are also a number of small pagodas as well as stalagmites and stalactites. Complete visiting Pindaya Caves, you will have lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we visit some local houses where families produce Shan paper and parasols. Here you can experience the process of making umbrellas and traditional Shan paper. We then drive to Nyaung Shwe on the bank of Inle Lake. We will drive to take you to your hotel in Nyaung Shwe. End trip at your hotel.
- Starting time is depending on the arrival flight time to Heho Airport (Most of the flights arrive to Heho Airport is approx. 10:00 AM). As soon as the flights arrive, we can straightly go to Pindaya from Heho Airport. Visit in Pindaya. Lunch at Pindaya. And drive back to Nyaung Shwe in the late evening.
- Or the clients can start the tour from Nyaung Shwe at about 08:00 A.M. It is also fine to visit to Pindaya sightseeing from Nyaung Shwe-Pindaya-Nyaung Shwe.
