Low water season (February to July):
During the low water season, Tad Sae Waterfall is dry and the water level in Nam Khan River is low as well. Therefore, there are some changes in the itinerary as follow:
We will enjoy an extended 20 Km bike ride that takes us up and down some dirt hills and through rice paddies and villages with a small river crossing by bike.
The second day is the same as above.
If the Tad Sae is too dry we’ll skip the visit. Instead of it, we take a similar trail out of the mountains to the Nam Khan River. You’ll ride elephants at the adjacent and impressive Elephant Village camp then join us again to start kayaking 11 Km with some small rapids before picking up and returning to Luang Prabang.
