We will meet up at 6.00pm in KL Sentral station since train departs at 6.30 am sharp, so punctuality is important. The train will take us up north to the old town of Ipoh where heritage and tradition stands still. This quaint town was once a thriving commercial centre in the 19th century as a result of the tin mining boom. Walk the streets of Ipoh as we take you on a culinary-historical adventure to savour the best Ipoh has to offer – from the quintessential Ipoh Sar Hor Fun (Rice Noodles) to melt-in-your-mouth kaya puffs to aromatic Nasi Vanggeh. Then walk off the calories to make room for more good food by exploring historical buildings built during the British colonial era – a true photographers’ haven. Take a rest if you need to and sip away on a cup of freshly brewed old town Ipoh coffee. This tour allows you to escape from the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur city. Tour ends at 7.30 pm.
