This tour is a must-see for those who are interested in architecture and ancient civilizations. My Son sanctuary was an imperial city during the Champa dynasty, between the 4th and the 12th centuries. This zone is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Winter schedule (October – February):
5.30 - 6.00: Pickup time at the hotel in Hoi An city center and then transfer to My Son Sanctuary.
7.00: Arrive at My Son. Spend time to explore the sanctuary.
9.00: Get the bus to leave My Son.
10.00 - 10.30: Drop you off at Thanh Nam, Cam Chau, Hoi An, Quang Nam. Tour ends.
Summer schedule (March – September):

6.30: Arrive at My Son. Spend time to explore the sanctuary.
8.30: Get the bus to leave My Son.
9.30 - 10.00: Drop you off at Thanh Nam, Cam Chau, Hoi An, Quang Nam. Tour ends.
Our guide will pick up you at the hotel in Hoi An city center from and depart for My Son sanctuary for starting the tour. You will be received small breakfast with sandwich, banana to fill up your stomach before the discovery.
When you reach My Son sanctuary, you will have 2 hours to discover about the culture and history.
It belongs to Quang Nam district and about 40km from Hoi An. My Son sanctuary was built in 4th century by King Bhadresvara. It is a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 70 architectural works with different details representing for different periods of Chmapa kingdom. During many centuries, the temple complex had more buildings and stupas constructed of varying sizes and became the main cultural vestige of the Champa civilization in Vietnam. Aside from religious celebrations, which allowed the dynastic royals to spiritually connect with the gods, My Son was also a cultural and religious centre and was the burial place of kings and religious leaders. You can stroll around My Son and look for different details and styles. My Son sanctuary is not only a historical site but also a witness for a disappeared culture.
The sanctuary is surrounded by trees and mountains which makes the sanctuary more mysterious and attractive. It was recognized as a world heritage site in 1999. These temples on a site that was the spiritual and political capital of the Champa Kingdom for most of its existence. Initially constructed with wood, the structures were fully destroyed by fire in the 6th century.
