What To Expect

Tonle Sap lake (Great Lake) refers to seasonally freshwater lake and an attached river, that connects the lake to the Mekong. It’s so important to Cambodia’s food provision. It proved capable to maintain the Angkorean civilization, the largest pre-industrial settlemet complex in world history. And then, you will see a cultural tradition in floating village Chong Kneas. It is estimated that over 1.2 million ethnic Vietnamese and Cham people inhabit the floating villages around the lake, mainly living from fishing (and tourism). More than half of Cambodia’s fish supply comes from this lake, so the lake’s importance for the entire Cambodia, economically and otherwise, cannot be exaggerated.

We will pick you up at 8.00 am in the morning or 2.00 pm in the afternoon at your hotel. Then you may enjoy the trip at riverside and the fresh atmosphere at Tonle Sap lake and on boat for Chong Kneas Floating village view nearby. Tour ends at 11.00 am or 5.00 pm for afternoon tour.
