Itinerary

At 8:30am, we meet you at our appointment and take the bike for our tour. Firstly we visit Old Custom Houses, which was built in the 1980. This was once the gateway to Thailand, levying taxes on traders moving in and out of the kingdom. Next, we go to Wat Chakrawat housing one of the largest groups of monks but more famous for keeping crocodiles. There is legend that the crocodiles kept eating young monks so they were trapped and housed behind the beautiful curved stupa. Later, we will cycle along the quiet back streets up to the vibrant Chinatown district which was settled in 1782 by Chinese. Here you can find just about anything: market stalls, street side restaurants and endless rows of wooden shop houses. Continue biking to Pak Khlong Talat. This is the biggest fresh flower and vegetable market in Bangkok lined with dazzling fauna from across Thailand. We then ride to Chao Phraya River and take a ferry across the river, which is said to be the lifeblood of Bangkok. Finishing ferry trip, we visit Wat Arun – the Temple of Dawn. It’s one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok with a very different design that you can’t see at any temple else in Bangkok. Continue with Wat Prayoon which is also located on the bank of Chao Praya River. Built during King Rama III’s reign, the temple’s outstanding features include a large inverted bell shaped pagoda. You can also visit turtle ‘mountain’ housing spirit houses and a pond where you can feed the turtles. Finish sightseeing tour by bike, we cycle back to our clubhouse on the river path so you can enjoy the refreshing cool breeze and fantastic views across the city. End trip around 1:30p
