What To Expect

The Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum is a museum in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, chronicling the Cambodian genocide. The site is a former high school which was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime from its rise to power in 1975 to its fall in 1979. Tuol Sleng means "Hill of the Poisonous Trees" or "Strychnine Hill". Tuol Sleng was only one of at least 150 execution centers in the country,[1] and as many as 20,000 prisoners there were later killed. Our tour will take you there and some others to acknowledge more about those difficult days and therefore, we need to repect and love your everyday, every valuable moment.

The tour will start at 8.00 in the morning or 2.00 in the afternoon. A circuit of Tuol Sleng museum, the killing field and street 240, next to the Palace is home to a small collection of boutiques and shops offering Cambodian silk fashions, art and handicrafts as well as a couple restaurants/bars, wine shops, a bookstore and a travel agent. After that, local market stopover may give you a little of daily life in PhnomPenh.
