From 7:00 to 7:45am, we pick you up at your hotel in Bangkok and transfer to our starting point. We begin our ride in back alleyways through flower market nearby Phra Phuttha Yodfa Bridge. Then we take ferry across the Chao Phraya River and paddle along antique railways to visit the gold leaf makers at their home where every gold leaf is made by hand. On the way, we stop at two fascinating temples – Wat Dusit Dharam, which has hundred years old wooden barge that was made by a whole tree, and Wat Suan Sawan founded in the Ayutthaya period (12th and 13th century). From here we continue cycling on country lanes, allowing you to experience the natural surroundings and the Thai way of life along the canals. Another highlight of the tour is a visit to National Museum of Royal Barges. Here you can explore Thailand’s most unique and beautiful Royal Barges up close. Each was craved into the figure of mythical creatures from Thai folklore such as Garuda and Naga. We then head to Rama 8 Bridge, where we cross back to Rattanankosin area and return to our starting point. From there we drive you back to your hotel. End trip around 1:30pm.
