DAY 1: HANOI – SAPA – FANSIPAN (L/D)
7.00 – 7.30: You will get picked up at your hotel in Old Quarter area or the meeting point and depart for Sapa town in Lao Cai Province. Join this tour, you don’t need to worry about be tired with long time transfer. There are many utilities on bus that you can kill the time.
Farther from Hanoi, you will see different landscapes along the road. The housing density is lower, you will see more 1 floor houses and rice fields instead of tall buildings. Let’s be relaxed and enjoy this time before discovering Sapa – one of the most must-see destinations of Vietnam’s north.
12:30 - 13.00: Arrival in Sapa Town. Check in at hotel.
You will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant to help fill up your energy for the trip.
14:00: The driver will wait for you in a private car in front of your hotel and go ahead to Fansipan, the rooftop of Indochina (Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia).
The driver will help you buy the ticket for cable car. You have 2,5 hours to explore it by yourself.
With the 3143m height, conquering Fansipan peak is a dream of many people. However, it is not easier for everyone and cable car was built for this.
Do you know that cable car to Fansipan peak keeps 2 Guinness World Records? They are the world’s longest three-rope cable car system and the world’s highest three-rope cable car with a height difference between the departure and arrival terminals of 1,410 metres. The cable car came into operation since 2016 and is attractive point of tourist. Instead of trekking in 2 or 3 days, you just need to spend 15 minutes to go the station stop (3000m height). This period time is enough for you to admire nature’s beauty. You will see Hoang Lien Son mountain range, forest covered big and green trees, Muong Hoa valley. This is so cool, right?
From station stop, you will climb more than 600 stairs to touch your hand on the highest point of Indochina. Standing on the peak, you will see incredible panorama view in low temperature. If you are lucky and meet the good weather, you even see white clouds floating on your head. This must be an unforgettable moment! Don’t forget to save all of memories by your phone or camera!
17:00: Meet the driver at the stop point and come back to the hotel.
Have dinner at restaurant in the hotel.
Have free time at night. Overnight at 3-star hotel.
DAY 2: Y LINH HO - LAO CHAI – TA VAN (B/L/D)
07:00 – 7:30: You should wake up early to enjoy the fresh air in Sapa. Have breakfast at hotel.
In the second day, the trekking route is about 12 km in 4.5 hours.
09.00 – 09:30: Trek to Y Linh Ho, a village is located at flank of mountain. The village is surrounded by Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Hit on your eyes is rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. You can see the local people are working on their fields as well as children are playing with friends carefreely.
Then, you will move to Ta Van village - home of Dzay ethnic people. You will see the picture of rice fields and small houses near there. Its atmosphere is quite peaceful with wild nature, it is an ideal place for you to run away from busy life.
12:00 – 12:30: It’s time for lunch! Have lunch at a local restaurant in Lao Chai. Here, you not only taste delicious food but also have opportunity to learn more the local cuisine. Let’s sit on the chair and start using chopstick!
After lunch, you will walk to Ta Van Bridge to go to Sapa town.
14.30: Get the bus and come back to your hotel in Sapa.
If you feel tired and exhausted after 2 trekking days, you can go to massage stores to get massage or herbal baths to let your body free. However, you should ask the price and time for each service carefully before making decision.
Take a walk and try street food is good way to find out more about Sapa.
18:30: After dinner, spend time for yourself at the cooling air of this touristic place.
Have dinner at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 3: CAT CAT VILLAGE - SAPA – HANOI (B/L)
07:30: Have breakfast to get the energy for the last day of 3 days 2 nights Sapa tour.
Have free time for be relaxed or walking around before the last trek with around 4km long distance.
09:00 – 9:30: You start the trip on foot to explore the Cat Cat village of ethnic Hmong – discover and learn about the culture, customs and unique people here with traditional crafts such as weaving, carved silver, forged agricultural tools, etc. If you are interested in handmade stuffs, you should buy some as souvenirs but don’t forget to ask the price clearly before making a decision.
Visiting Cat Cat village, you will have a chance to visit a big waterfall on the stream and the old Hydro Electric Power Station built by French people. You will see some ethnic minority children in colorful traditional costumes play carefreely on the way or some black pigs walk slowly. All of them make Cat Cat village a peaceful vibe.
12:00: Enjoy lunch at local restaurant then you have 2 hours free to visit Sapa town for shopping and check-in points. You can walk around on small roads to explore Sapa by yourself before saying goodbye to this town before coming back to Hanoi.
15:00 - 15:30: The driver takes you back to Hanoi.
21:00 – 21:30: Finish tour with unforgettable moments! Drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi.
