Itinerary: 

Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat village (L/D) 

7.00 - 7.30: Pickup time at the hotel in Old Quarter area and transfer to Sapa town by Limousine Car.

When Limousine moves far from Hanoi center, you will see countryside’s images along the road of villages, rice fields. It is interesting to see the change of views in the route.  

12.30 – 13.00: Arrive to hotel in Sapa. Have lunch and short break. 

14.00 - 14.30: Move to Cat Cat village. It’s time to explore the village! 

Start your trekking tour to Cat Cat Village with 4km long route, the village of Black H’Mong hill tribe. Cat Cat village is considered as the most famous village of Sapa. Cat Cat village was discovered by French and was chosen to use as a resort in the early 20th century. You will have opportunity to discover and learn about the culture, customs and unique people here with traditional crafts such as weaving, carved silver, forged agricultural tools, etc.  Sometimes, you meet children or the local people sell handmade stuffs, you can buy some as souvenirs but don’t forget to ask the price clearly before making a decision.  

Visiting Cat Cat village, you will have a chance to visit a big waterfall on the stream and the old Hydro Electric Power Station built by French people.   

17.00: Get the bus to come back the hotel in Sapa.

Arrive to hotel. Take time to take shower and be relaxed. 

18.00 - 18.30: Have dinner at local restaurant in the hotel.

Free time at night. Overnight at hotel.  

You can take advantage of free time to discover the town and night market. 

 

Day 2: SP – Bac Ha market (Sunday only) (B/L/D) 

Have breakfast at hotel and prepare the backpack for the tour. 

7.00 - 7.30: Get the bus to move to Bac Ha Market. It takes about 2,5 hours to reach the market.  

9.30 - 10.00: Arrive at the market. Spend time to explore the local market. 

Bac Ha Market only opens one day of week, on Sunday. The market is located in center of Bac Ha town. This is one of the biggest and the most popular market of mountain area near borders. Maybe you don’t know, there are at least 8 ethnic groups such as Black Dzao, Nung, Tay, etc. attend to this market. 

Come here, you will see many stuffs from foods, souvenirs to clothes, even animals which are shown on small stalls. One of attractive points of the market is looking at ethnic minority’s traditional clothes. You can find many brocade clothes with different colors and details. Walk around the market, you can immerse to crowded and bustle atmosphere and learn more about their culture as well as their lifestyle. The local people come here not only for selling stuffs but also for communication among ethnic groups. Don’t forget to look around and try some local foods here. 

13.30: Have lunch with local dishes. 

After lunch, you will visit Hmong King’s palace and Pho village. 

15.00 - 15.30: Get the bus to come back the hotel in Sapa.  

 

Day 3: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van – Sapa – Hanoi. (B/L) 

Have breakfast for a long day trek. 

9.00 - 9.30: Start to trek to the first of route, Y Linh Ho and then Lao Chai. 

Trek to Y Linh Ho, a village is located at flank of mountain. The village is surrounded by Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Hit on your eyes is rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. You can see the local people are working on their fields as well as children are playing with friends carefreely.   

12.00: You will have lunch at Lao chai village and take a short break. 

To reach Ta VAN village where we have chance to learn about the life styles and the custom of the red Dzao minority, you will continue to trek about 2km. Go to Ta Van village, you will see the picture of rice fields and small houses near there. Its atmosphere is quite peaceful with wild nature, it is an ideal place for you to run away from busy life.   

13.30 - 14.00: Transfer to the hotel and finish the last day. 

15.00 - 15.20: Come back to the Hanoi by Limousine car. 

21.30: Come back to your departure point in Hanoi. Tour ends.
