Itinerary: 

Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai – Ta Van. (L/D) 

7.00 - 7.30: Pickup time at hotels in Old Quarter area and then transfer to Lao Cao by Limousine Van Car for starting your Sapa 3D2N tour.  

Take time to be relaxed on comfy car as observing the landscapes along the road.  

12.30 – 13.00: Arrive in Sapa town. You will have lunch and short break before starting trekking tour. 

14.00 – 14.30: Start the tour to Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai – Ta Van. 

We will trek around 12km through villages and rice fields. 

First you will trek to Y Linh Ho, a village is located at flank of mountain. The village is surrounded by Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Hit on your eyes is rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. Muong Hoa valley is also one of the hot check-in spots of Sapa. It owns a lot of terraced fields which are near each other. From a distance, it looks like a You can see the local people are working on their fields as well as children are playing with friends carefreely.   

To reach Ta Phin village where we have chance to learn about the life styles and the custom of the red Dzao minority, you will continue to trek about 2km. Go to Ta Van village, you will see the picture of rice fields and small houses near there. Its atmosphere is quite peaceful with wild nature, it is an ideal place for you to run away from busy life.   

18.30 - 19.00: Arrive at Tavan Village.  Check in at the homestay and get a short break time.

Have dinner at homestay.  

Free time at night. Overnight at homestay at the Dzay local house in Ta Van. 

  

Day 2: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Ban Ho. (B/L/D) 

Have free time to be relaxed and have breakfast.  

9.00 - 9.30: Meet tour guide to begin Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Ban Ho trekking route.  

The distance of trekking route for the second day is around 12km. This route is less tourists and commercial so you will have a better experience without a lot of tourists. 

You continue the journey to discover Giang Ta Chai village, a village of Red Dzao group. Red Dzao is the second biggest group of minority groups in Sapa. You can interact to local people and talk to them. Many local people and children here can speak English so if you want, don’t hesitate to start a conversation. You will trek through bamboo forest to come to the village. On the way, you will see many terraced rice fields as well as small houses of the local people on flank of the mountain.  

Then will move to Su Pan villages after passing Muong Hoa Valley. Stroll around the village and spend time to explore village’s beauty. Be sure that your phone or camera is full of battery and memory space to not miss any moment, you don’t know when you see beautiful views. On the way, you can see children playing to each other in their colorful clothes. Sometimes, they will have adorable moments that you can be regret if not capture them quickly by your phone or camera. You also have short break times to recharge your energy.  

12.00 - 12.30: Have a picnic lunch at Su Pan village. 

You will keep on hiking about 6km to Ban Ho. The village lies within a beautiful valley, home to the Tay minority people who have their traditional house on stilts. You can feel peaceful atmosphere and fresh air as discovering the village. 

13.00 - 13.30:  Arrive in Ban Ho. You will spend one night at homestay here. 

Free time in the afternoon. 

Overnight at the Tay local homestay. 

  

Day 3: Ban Ho – Nam Toong – Sapa – Hanoi (B/L) 

Wake up early and enjoy cool and fresh air in the mountain for the last day of your tour. It is a good decision to hunt the sunrise from the village. That moment will make your day! 

You will have time to have breakfast to be ready.  

9.00 - 9.30: Meet tour guide and depart to Nam Toong.  

You will trek around 8km for this day. 

At the begin of day, you continue to immerse to nature’s landscapes. You will arrive at a waterfall, the Lavie waterfall by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Water resource of Lavie waterfall is from Hoang Lien Son mountain range. You can choose to swim in cool water, walk around the waterfall of just sit on rocks and be relaxed in fresh air.  

Then go up to the mountain to visit a small hamlet Nam Toong. The local people live here is still Red Dzao people. Take time to listen to stories from tour guide and feel the restful atmosphere of village.  

12.00 - 12.30: Have a picnic lunch and short break.  

Get back to Ban Ho before get to Sapa by Car.  

15.00 - 15.30: Come back to the Hanoi by Limousine bus. 

21.30: Come back to your departure point in Hanoi. Tour ends!

The pickup time depends on traffic jam, weather and other customers in group tour. Therefore, the driver and tour guide take time to collect all customers.
