The tour will departs around 9.00 AM to go to the first destination, Rattanakosin Island. The original area of Bangkok when it was first established as the capital since 18th century. Then, you will discover Wat Traimit, known for its famous Golden Buddha. You will be supried surprised to know that it is made of about 83% pure gold and three meters high and weighs five and a half tons.
Then, you will take a look of the colorful flower market and Chinatown. They are good places for taking pictures. Chinatown also is famous for its diverse food.
The next destination is Wat Pho or Temple of the Reclining Buddha. It is the oldest and biggest temple with the largest number of pagodas (95 in all) in Bangkok. It was founded in the 16th century. Wat Pho was the first open university of Thailand which offered courses like literature, astrology, medicine. You will see a huge Reclining Buddha stuate, with 46 meter long and 15 meter high.
Move to Wat Benchamabophit or Marble Temple. This temple was designed from 19th century with impressive Thai religious architecture. Its marble imported from Italia (Italian Carrara marble). Moreover, its architecture had European and Chinese design influences. It was submitted to UNESCO for consideration as a future World Heritage Site.
At the end of tour, you will be visit some local product stores where you can find interesting souvenirs. And come back to your departure point.
