Da Nang is Vietnam’s third largest city which is the major economic center in central Vietnam. Mother Nature presented Da Nang city a river inside the city and surrounding area is golden shining sand with a long beach. Local people are friendly and helpful. Da Nang city tour one day will take you to highlights of Da Nang such as Marble Mountains, Linh Ung pagoda, Thuan Phuoc bridge. Furthermore, you also have a chance to visit the Cham Sculpture Museum, which has the world’s largest collection of Cham artifacts. Don’t forget to take some great pictures in our trip, you will not want to miss it!
09.00 - 9.15: Pick-up at the hotel in Da Nang city center area then transfer to Marble Mountain for starting the tour.
Visit Marble Mountain. Climb to the top of mountain and observe the beautiful landscapes from the mountain.
Visit Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village near Marble Mountain.
10:00: Move to Son Tra Peninsula to visit Linh Ung Pagoda and witness the Goddess of Mercy’s status
11.15: Visit Thuan Phuoc Bridge.
Visit The Museum of Cham Sculpture in Da Nang.
12.00: Have lunch at a restaurant and take time to be relaxed.
13.00: Move to Han Market in Da Nang city center. Spend time to visit the market and buy something as gift and souvenir.
13.30 – 14.00: Return to the departure point in Da Nang city center. Da Nang day trip ends.
Upon pickup from your hotel in Da Nang city center, you will be taken to the first site of this tour, Marble Mountain, a cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble in Da Nang: Thuy Son (water) which is the highest, Moc Son (wood), Kim Son (metal), Tho Son (soil), and Hoa Son (fire). These mountains have a complicated system of caves and tunnels. In the past they were used as hiding places and important bases for Vietnamese revolutionaries. Then, you will visit Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village at the foot of Marble Mountain. This is a traditional village with stone carving products. You will have the opportunity to see how the local make their goods.
Leaving Marble Mountain, we will head north to visit the Son Tra Peninsula (Monkey Mountain), is a beautiful peninsula with long, white sandy beaches, picturesque landscapes and primeval forests. We will visit the third Linh Ung Pagoda, the most important pagoda in Danang for the Buddhist people to come and pray. What strikes visitors to Linh Ung pagoda most is the Son Tra Quan Am (Son Tra Goddess of Mercy). The 67-m statue is the tallest in Southeast Asia. The Statue leans on the mountain and looks toward the sea. Guanyin statue is the in-official symbol of Danang city, similar to the Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
You will go sightseeing at Thuan Phuoc Brigde, one of the most amazing bridges in Da Nang city. From all points of view, Thuan Phuoc Bridge reflects a modern outlook, full of charm and splendor. Then, you will visit The Museum of Cham Sculpture. This museum has kept a lot of typical items of Cham culture in over 10 centuries (5th to 15th century). All of items divided into sections with different topics. You will walk around the museum while listening stories about Cham history and culture as well as items there from tour guide.
The next, you will have lunch at a restaurant to fill up your energy and take a short break time before continuing the tour.
After your lunch, you will transfer to the Han Local Market, the most important trading point of Da Nang City. Han market is ideal for those looking for some Danang's souvenirs before heading home. You can find many things here, from food, clothes to specialties, etc. Dried food and fresh fruits and local snacks are some things that you should try there.
After that we return to hotel in Da Nang. Da Nang day trip ends. Our guide will say goodbye and see you again!
