ITINERARY IN BRIEF:
8.30 – 9.00 AM: Pick up at hotel lobby in Old City area or the meeting point (if your hotel/pickup address doesn’t belong to the city center, you will go the meeting point) to go to market.
9.00 – 10.00 AM: Learn more about local market with many different goods.
10.00 – 2.00/2.30 PM: Learn to cook and enjoy 11 dishes with Akha chef.
3.00 PM: Come back to your departure point. Say goodbye to our friendly guide!
After meeting the guide and other customers, you will go to the local market.
If you travel to Asian countries, it’s shortcoming if you don’t visit their local market. Come to the market, see what they sell and buy, how they interact with each other, you will see the most real lifestyle of local people as well as your shopping habits. Moreover, maybe you can know some interesting tips to choose good stuffs between countless goods or how to bargain goods. Don’t hesitate to ask our guide if you see some strange fruits on shelves that you have never tried before.
After visiting the market and collect all of ingredients for dishes, you will move to the class to get your hands on the cooking. Our chef – Akha people will introduce and help you cook dishes step by step. You can find easy or hard to make them but I am sure this class will give you unforgettable moments. Through cooking, you will learn more about Thai Akha’s culture as well as. You will learn 11 dishes including 10 dishes and 1 curry paste. You will learn to cook each dish step by step and enjoy it soon after. Then, you will cook another dish and taste it immediately until the last dish of 11th. When you finish each dish and put your dishes on the table, I am sure that you will be excited a lot to taste what you did.
