9.00 - 9.30: Pickup time at the hotel in Sapa city center and then move to Cat Cat village.
Spend time to explore the village and take beautiful photos.
11.30 - 12.00: Have lunch at the local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will continue to discover Sin Chai village.
14.30 - 15.00: Come back to hotel in Sapa center area. Tour ends.
9.00: You will be picked up at your hotel by tour guide for starting the tour. This village is considered as the most famous village in Sapa.
You will go to the Cat Cat village which is home of Hmong ethnic minority. Hmong people are one of the ethnic minorities that account for the most population in the mountainous area.
You will go down stone stairs to go inside and explore the village. You will have the opportunity to see how the local life is through their traditional jobs such as feeding castle, weaving brocade, carving silver, etc. Along the stairs, the local also sell handmade stuffs like brocade clothes, silver accessories, and some medicinal plants. You can take a look of their stuffs and can buy as gifts. Don’t forget to ask the price carefully before making a decision!
You can meet many girls in colorful traditional clothes. If you want, you can hire traditional clothes to wear and take photos. There are many beautiful corners that help you to have good photos. On the way to trek down to the village's bottom, you will see fields filling up flowers (seasonal flowers) and create stunning pictures. This is hot check in place of young people.
At the bottom of valley, you also see Hydraulic Power Station. French built this in war period to serve for their needs. And there is Cat Cat waterfall (Tien Sa waterfall) nearby which comes from Hoang Lien Son mountain range. There is folk dance here performed by 7 ethnic groups. They will wear traditional clothes and show people special features in their spiritual culture. Spend your time to take rest and enjoy the cool air after trekking route.
11.30 - 12.00: Enjoy the lunch at the local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will move to Sin Chai village which is located at the foot of Fansipan mountain. The resident of this village is Black Hmong with main jobs are planting rice fields and raising livestock. Therefore, you will see many terraced fields. The 2 best beautiful periods for seeing terrace fields are harvest season with golden rice images and when the farmers bring the water to fields which makes “a giant colorful carpet” by its sunshine reflection. This likes an evidence for hard working personality of the local here. The terraced field is a kind of signature point of the north of Vietnam in general and make it becomes more special in Vietnam travelling map.
On the trekking route, you will see small houses making by wooden. You also see some local people. Some children are playing carelessly, some women in traditional clothes are working and chatting at the same time. The people are quite friendly so you can go to interact if you want. In this tranquil and peaceful atmosphere, let's leave all of your sorrows behind, just enjoy this moment!
14.30 - 15.00: Return to Sapa city center. Say goodbye to tour guide!
