At 8:30am, we meet you at our appointment and take the bike for our tour. We firstly ride to visit the heritage house of Mr Kukrit – Thailand’s former prime minister from 1974 to 1975. His come is a cluster of five teakwood houses raised on stilts in traditional Thai style, all connected by a wooden corridor. These houses showcase a rich collection of artifacts, including ceramics, antiques, fine arts and rare books. We then cycle along the quiet back streets of the city and take a long tail boat across the Chao Phraya River to the Phra Pradaeng peninsula, which is called “Lungs of Bangkok”. It got this nickname for its plentiful trees and orchards. We will ride and enjoy the endless lush greenery of the area. Because of the few cars on the peninsula and for its lack of popular, it has become a favorite with Thai and foreign cyclists who roam around the island’s sights undisturbed by traffic and dangers of Bangkok streets. You are able to experience the thrill of cycling high above the mangrove vegetation through the raised pathways. Take time to look around and be filled with wonder and astonishment at the diverse and abundant natural sights. We stop at Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan, the place to escape from Bangkok’s chaos. This park was established for being the source production of fresh air – an ideal destination for relaxing and exercising for everyone. After that, we bike off road and have fun with a detour into the wilderness. If you join in our tour at weekends, you also have the chance to try local food in store at the Bang Nampheung weekend market. Finally, we ride back to our office. End trip around 1:30pm.
