Brief Itinerary: 

Day 1: Lao Cai station - Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa (B/L/D). 

5.30 - 6.15: Pick you up at Lao Cai station to Sapa city center. Check in your hotel in Sapa city center. 

9.00 - 9.30: Meet tour guide and start the trekking tour Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van. 

12.00 - 12.30: Have lunch at the local restaurant. 

In the afternoon, continue to trek in the route. 

14.00 - 14.30: Come back to Sapa city center. 

Free time at the hotel. 

Have dinner at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 2: Cat Cat & Sin Chai (B/L/D). 

9.00 - 9.30: Start the tour. Spend time to explore Cat Cat village. 

12.00 - 12.30: Have lunch at the local restaurant. 

In the afternoon, continue to trek to Sin Chai village. 

14.30 - 15.00: Come back to Sapa city center. 

Free time at leisure.  

Have dinner at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 3: Sapa - Suoi Ho - Ma Tra - Ta Phin – Sapa – Lao Cai station (B/L/D). 

9.00 - 9.30: Start the tour. Spend time to explore Suoi Ho – Ma Tra – Ta Phin. 

12.00 - 12.30: Have lunch at the local restaurant. 

14.30 - 15.00: Come back to Sapa city center. 

Free time at leisure. You can have the early dinner at the hotel.  

17.30: Get the bus to Lao Cai station. Tour ends. 

 Itinerary: 

Day 1: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa (B/L/D). 

You will be picked up at Lao Cai station to Sapa city center. Check-in the hotel and have time to be relaxed. You will meet tour guide around 9.00 AM and then start trekking day tour at Y Linh Ho – Ta Van route with the distance about 12 km.  

Trek to Y Linh Ho, a village is located at flank of mountain. The local live dispersed and not concentrate to just one area. The name of village is similar to the man came this land to live, tilled and sowed the land. The village is surrounded by Hoang Lien Son mountain range. The main job of the local is rice growing. Therefore, hitting on your eyes is a picture of many rice terraces. If you come here in harvest season, you can be overwhelmed by its grandeur and beauty with perfect yellow color.   

Then, you will move along Muong Hoa Stream to Lao Chai village. You will go to Lao Chai and Ta Van village. Lao Chai is about 7km from Sapa city center. Two villages are home of Tay and Hmong people. They are located between Hoang Lien Son mountain range and Ham Rong mountain which makes good condition for people can live. Come here, you will see many terraced fields and the local are working on their fields. If you visit Sapa in harvest period, you can be amazed by the golden view of ripe rice. This is a proud of the local people which is evidence for their efforts. 

Have picnic lunch at Lao Chai Village to get the energy back.   

Go to Ta Van village - home of Dzay, Hmong and Red Dzao ethnic people. Stroll on small paths of the village while observing landscapes of rice fields and small cottage houses near there. Its atmosphere is quite peaceful with wild nature, it is an ideal place for you to run away from busy life. Although their living standard is low, you can see that the ethnic minority own slow paced life.  

Return to hotel in Sapa city center. 

Have dinner at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 2: Cat Cat & Sin Chai (B/L/D). 

You will be picked up at your hotel by tour guide for starting the tour. 

You will go to the Cat Cat village which is home of Hmong ethnic minority. Hmong people are one of the ethnic minorities that account for the most population in the mountainous area. You will go down stone stairs to go inside and explore the village. You will have the opportunity to see how the local life is through their traditional jobs such as feeding castle, weaving brocade, carving silver, etc. Along the stairs, the local also sell handmade stuffs like brocade clothes, silver accessories, and some medicinal plants, etc. 

On the way to trek down to the village's bottom, you will see fields filling up flowers (seasonal flowers) and create stunning pictures. This is hot check in place of young people. At the bottom of valley, you also see Hydraulic Power Station. French built this in war period to serve for their needs. And there is Cat Cat waterfall (Tien Sa waterfall) nearby which comes from Hoang Lien Son mountain range. There is folk dance here performed by 7 ethnic groups. They will wear traditional clothes and show people special features in their spiritual culture. Spend your time to take rest and enjoy the cool air after trekking route.  

Enjoy the lunch at the local restaurant.  

In the afternoon, you will move to Sin Chai village which is located at the foot of Fansipan mountain. The resident of this village is Black Hmong with main jobs are planting rice fields and raising livestock. Therefore, you will see many terraced fields. This likes an evidence for hard working personality of the local here. The terraced field is a kind of signature point of the north of Vietnam in general and make it becomes more special in Vietnam travelling map. 

Return to the hotel in Sapa city center.

Day 3: Sapa - Suoi Ho - Ma Tra - Ta Phin – Sapa (B/L/D). 

After meeting tour guide around 9.00 Am, you will start your tour to trek in the route: Suoi Ho - Ma Tra – Ta Phin.  

Suoi Ho is a small village of Hmong people, about 3km from Sapa center. Come here, you will find peaceful atmosphere of mountainous area. Observe the landscapes of the village before reaching Ma Tra. Ma Tra is also home of Hmong people. Join this tour, you will have the opportunity to observe and learn more about the local life through real images in front of your eyes. On the way, you will see many terraced fields – the proud of the hard-working local people. If you come here in right time, you will have the opportunity to admire this perfect picture of human hand. You will be listened to stories about tour guide about the daily life as well as history of this land.  

Then you will continue to go straight and explore Ta Phin village. This is home of Red Dzao and Hmong people. Until now, although many tourists know about Ta Phin village, the village still keeps its simplicity in the local’s daily life. You will visit an old monastery in Ta Phin village. It was built in 1942 and had 12 nuns. In 1945, they went to Hanoi and the monastery was abandoned until now. It couldn’t remain good condition, a part of monastery was ruined. However, you can see and image about the architecture of monastery. It has 3 floors which main materials are stone and brick. Many wilds trees grow in the house and make a mysterious vibe.  

You also have time to have a quick discovery of a small cave near Ta Phin village. Go inside the cave and observe the stalactites and stones in different shapes, the result of Mother Nature through thousands of years.  

Red Dzao people in Ta Phin village is famous for herbal bath service. They did and use them as a good habit in normal life long time ago. Nowadays, they push this service for tourists and make it becomes a symbol of the village. Pass over the local’ houses, you even can see medicinal plants are dried in the sunlight. Herbal bath has a good benefit for health, make you relaxed and feel better. 

Come back to Sapa city center. 

Have free time to be relaxed and take a shower. You can have the early dinner at the hotel before getting the bus to reach Lao Cai station.
