About Chiang Mai

Then we will go to Wat Pho which is a Buddhist Temple Complex. It’s also known under the name of reclining Buddha because we find this famous statue of 46 meters length. It’s one of the most important temples of Thailand. This temple is considered as the first university of Thailand where religion, science and literature are taught.
The next step will be Sanam Luang. You will admire from there the Buddha Emeraud Temple as well as the Bangkok Grand Palace. It will be the perfect place to rest, far away from the noise and pollution of city-center.
Wat Arun or Temple of Dawn is another Buddhist temple to visit when you will be in Bangkok. Since its restoration in 2017, it’s even more awesome.
Then we will go to Wat Prayoon Temple which is close to Wat Arun. It’s located on the West side of the Chao Praya River. It was intended to the Portuguese community especially for merchants and government officers.
CHAO PRAYA / THONBURY
